(SVT text)

From our Archives: The July-October 1994 issue of the then union newsletter, The Ghanaian Conscience, carried three items in the Children's Corner from three of our kids. There were two drawings. One was by Kpormone Afua Buame, 6 years, and in Klass 1D at Svenshögskolan in Lund and another by Jiani, 5 years, who was then with his father, a Ghanaian, working in Phonm Pehn, Cambodia. Niimatha Suberu, who was then 10, also sent a story about Madicken och Lisabet. This was 24 years ago. All the three girls are now grown up and on their own. Afua Buame returned to Ghana with her parents and now works in the ICT industry in Ghana. Jiani also returned to Ghana, earned a degree in Business Administration and qualified as an ACCA accountant. She is now in the USA with her husband pursuing a Masters in Design and an MBA. Own own Nimatha also earned a degree in Business Administration in the US and now works in Stockholm.
