Our envoy in Köpenhamn to meet Ghanaians resident in Stockholm: Meetings of Ghanaians in Stockholm with our ambassador from Köpenhamn have been scheduled for Tuesday the 2nd of October (for community leaders in Stockholm) and Wednesday the 3rd of October (for all Ghanaians in Stockholm). Each day's meeting will start at 18:00 hours and will take place at Sheraton Hotel at Tegelbacken 6 in the city centre. All Ghanaians in Stockholm, irrespective of party affiliation, should endeavour to come and meet our representative from Denmark. Please, note that this meeting is different from the one with consulate officials slated for Saturday, October 13th which will take place in Farsta.

Observatörer bevakar svenska valet: För första gången kommer observatörer från Organisationen för samarbete och säkerhet i Europa, OSSE, (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, OSCE) till Sverige för att se till att valet går rätt till, rapporterar Ekot. Före valet 2010 skickades en arbetsgrupp till Sverige för att utvärdera om det behövdes observatörer vid själva valet. Det behövdes inte då. När en liknande utvärdering gjordes inför årets val kom man fram till att man kommer att skicka två personer. OSSE ska bland annat titta närmare på hur valkampanjer finansieras.
