Latest on the remittance pilot project - click here...

Pilot project participants register for the DSL Members of the Ghana Union taking part in the DSL remittance project registered their names into the project's databank on Saturday. Micah Kissi, Union President, registered members one by one. The working group had earlier on been registered but were at hand to help other members in the registration process. Those who didn't have email addresses were also helped to create one prior to their registration. The process of creating a secure password was also explained to the members. Those members who were not present at Saturday's meeting will be registered when the union holds its end-of-year party at Norsborg on Saturday, December 27th. The union also discussed various ways of spreading information about the project. The next stage of the project will involve registration among participants as receivers and the actual remittance of money which everybody expressed eagerness to get going.
